Portugese tarts

I love these tarts and used to get them on a weekly basis in the Kensington Market. Now that I have moved mid-town, I can't seem to find fresh one's anywhere. It would be helpful if you could make some suggestions.

  1. Give us a general area as to where you are, mid town is a big place.

Pardon my lack of information. Avenue and Lawrence. Thanks again for your replies. Squeakycheese, pies darling, we all know where to find the later.....................

    2. Find a Portuguese bakery. They're staple baked goods.

        1. I don't know 'your' mid-town but we often buy them at the Galleria Mall (Dufferin & Dupont). You go around the back of the Mall towards the very back and you will see the LCBO, a Pet Valu and a charming Bakery...that's where we buy them or else we go to Shaw & College...on the north west corner is another Portugese Bakery (I think it's called Nova Era, but not sure of the name)..The other place we get them is at St.Clair West & Christie in the 'Churrasco' when we pick up our order of the best Portugese Chicken in town!!

        2. Doce Minho on Dufferin, south of Eglinton. I believe there is also a branch of Nova Era in that general vicintiy.
