help!! rec's for bday dinner

Hi All,
Need to book something today for Thursday! Group of 10 women for Thursday around 8:30pm. Someone downtown, good food, fun, nice place for very savvy NYC women! price not an issue just a good place. Trendy fun could work as long as we have a comfortable table. Ideally wanted La Esquina but impossible to get a reso. Anything similar?

Indochine is worth investigating, and sounds like a good fit from your description. French-Vietnamese, fun, good food, savvy decor. it's doable to get a reservation, from my recollection, though I might be wrong. There are plenty of great appetizers worth sharing and the main courses are excellent. Plenty of tasty healthy choices. I have gone for birthdays in the past and have enjoyed my experiences there.
