A group of us would like to get together for Brunch about once a month (sorta monthly sanity check). We would be 8-15 or so people and Brick - Toms River area is central to all of us. Anyone have suggestions, recommendations?

Bistro 44 right around the corner is probably the best choice in Ocean County

Their website does not mention tehir hours at all, but I am thinking, from looking here at other posts, they do not do BRunch either.

            The Pilot House Restaurant

This fine restaurant, with its panoramic views of the Forge Landing Marina, provides casual waterfront dining. The varied menu includes Maine lobsters, Steaks, Seafood and Chops and an outstanding Sushi Bar.

They're open for dinner 7 days a week with entertainment on Friday night.
There is a NEW dinner menu and a marvelous Sunday brunch.
This restaurant has a beautiful bar with a superb wine list which includes a good selection of half bottles or ask for one of their wonderful mixed drink concoctions.

Please call 732-920-8900 for reservations. Sunday Brunch reservations are required for parties of 5 or more.

    2. Just a skooch outside your target area is Bay Head and the Grenville Hotel & Restaurant. I haven't been there, but it's been on my list to try and they do mention brunch: "Sunday: Buffet 9:30am-1:30pm."

You should call to confirm winter season details. And their coupon web-page mentions brunch mimosa drinks, which along with bloody marys, is a brunch critical item for me.

This is a hard one. Although its far out of your area, the only proper Sunday Brunch is the one served at the Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank. No matter what they call it at either the Pilot House or the Lobster Shanty, I would stay far away.

I would have to echo bgut concerning the Pilot House & Lobster Shanty.
It would seem as though you're limiting your options - if you're not absolutely married to the brunch idea, why not call it lunch, go a bit later, and have an array of choices from which to choose?
