Driving from Glendale to LAX -- Lunch?
Will be driving from Glendale to LAX around lunchtime on Monday. Where should I eat?
I need something quick and really close to the freeways...would be interested in Mexican or other ethnic...or something uniquely LA (I live in NYC).
Need the whole affair to not take more than 30 minutes, so nothing too sit-down/waiter service.
Thanks!

If you take the 405, Tito's Tacos, within beer-can-tossing distance. Perhaps acquired taste, see elswehere on the site. Stick with the tacos and the bean and cheese burritos. Go to the order window inside - faster. Be sure to get both roja and verde salsa.
Washington Place in Culver City. I think their directions are wrong - www.titostacos.com. -
If you're in Glendale, you might as well stop off at Porto's for a quick Cubano, a potato ball, and a lovely dessert before you head off for the airport. Quick, affordable, and you're already in Glendale.
If you're driving the 134 to the 405, you could stop off at the Porto's Bubank location.-----

I would like to see my Chow associates look on a map before sending you off in strange directions when you're driving from Glendale to LAX.
Acosta Taco will give you a good send off, and it's about a minute or two out of your way (instead of, well, who knows how long for those other suggestions!).
Consult a map and you'll understand my suggestion, based on the assumption that you're driving the logical CA2-->I-5-->CA110-->I-110-->I-105 route.

re: westsidegal
"just like you get in NY"
I have to respectfully disagree. Diner food in NYC is mostly Greek-American-influenced. Pann's is very different, and has a strong Southern inflection. As an ex-NYCer, I can highly recommend Pann's as a unique LA experience. Among CH (and my) favorites are: biscuits with gravy, country fried steak, and fried chicken.
Another nice thing about Pann's is that you're only 10 minutes from LAX so you can dine without worrying (excessively) about traffic.
P.S. If I were driving to Pann's from Glendale, I would go 2 -> 5 -> 110 -> 10 -> La Cienega, though there are more interesting routes if you're okay with surface roads.
