Have to meet friends who are picky and non-foodies for dinner tomorrow night...late posting, sorry. We love great food and prefer byob.Any recommendations for short notice reservations?
Check out Pesto.
A few off the top of my head, in order of my preference:
Scannichio'sTre Scalini (doubt you'll be able to get a table in short notice)L'Angolo (another long shot for reservations)PestoChiarella's
I'd call Mr. Martino's Trattoria as well, they may be another tough reservation (they're only open 3 days a week, Fri-Sun) but it's very good.
while I enjoyed our recent meal at Mr. Martino's, I found the menu extremely limited. Only 2 chicken dishes (one was a special), one fish, no other protein aside from a very dry side of grilled sausage.
Because of the economy I have personally found it easy to get into almost any restaurant these days by simply walking in.
