Valentine's Suggestions?

I am looking for a mid-priced sorta romantic restaurant for Valentine's evening (or maybe the weekend before). Any ideas besides the USUAL?

You could check out Sandrine's, EVOO, Radius and Dante's.

I went to EVOO for Valentine's Day last year. The were serving a 4-course prix fixe which was delicious (especially the house-cured salmon appetizer, which I still dream about a year later), although somewhat more expensive than their usual offerings.

After many, many years of Valentine's Day dinners gone bad... the best place we have found for dinner is HOME! LOL

I really do stay clear of the holiday dining out because I have always found the wait too long, service is usually awful due to the volumes of people, there are sometimes very limited/limiting menus being used and the food isn't always up to par...

We try to celebrate the holiday either the weekend prior to but found the weekend AFTER usually has things back to normal....

I also would rather stay home, especially when V day falls on a weekend as it does this year. That said, this is a good list of Valentine's day suggestions:

For my first Valentine's Day with my boyfriend, we wanted to do something different so we went to the Wine Cellar in the Back Bay. We did three courses of fondue - cheese, meats and then chocolate and had a really intimate and romantic time.
