candied fruits [moved from France board]

I'm looking for candied fruits. When I lived in Provence, I used to eat them everyday. I miss them! I live in Chicago now and they simply do not exist here!
Any idea where I could find them?

    Shouldn't you be asking this on the Chicago board? I know they exist in the US, as I could get them when I lived in the Bay Area; I think at Berkeley Bowl. In any case, if they exist in California, they must exist in Chicago, even if they could be harder to find.

      have you tried sites like igourmet or chefshop?

      Williams-Sonoma sometimes has glaceed apricots.
