BYOB in Morris County NJ ...
I'm trying to plan a 30th Birthday Party for my husband. I'm looking for a Italian BYOB restaurant in Morris County that could hold maybe 50 people. I'm not even sure if such a place is around. I know BYOB is the cheaper way to go but If I cant find a place big enough I'll suck it up and pay for the drinks. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Morris County gets short shrift and poor response on CH, probably because of the unusual separation of NJ into 2 boards here, and the lack of clarity and ambiguity as to which board Morris County (and other Northern counties) belongs in. Tristate? MidAtlantic?
That being said, I'm sure the original poster has had their event, since the post was 8 months ago.
For info sake, and for hopefully getting more play on NNJ, (perhaps the Mods can define the board boundaries with more clarity and logic), my favorite BYOs in Morris are Resto, Tolima, and Tim Schaefer's.

Il Mondo Vecchio. Just a note that if it's a Friday or Saturday night a lot of these places may not be willing to do this since they may only be able to accomadate your party for the evening. BYOB is definately the way to go to save money.
Guerriero's has great Southern Italian food but the space is not that special. Provesi has a private area in the downstairs portion of their restuarant but I don't think it could hold 50.
I had to throw a party for 50 women for a non-profit organization and our budget was very tight and we found that the Black Horse Tavern in Mendham had the best deal if you are considering cuisine other than Italian but they are not BYOB. For BYOB I also like Tim Schaffer's in Morristown.
Good luck!

Guerriero's in Morristown (great food) or Settebello's in Morristown. Settebello's has an awesome outside area too.

My first thought was la Campagna in Morristown itself. It's certainly big enough to accomodate 50.
