Where to buy pomegranate jelly?

snow8150 Jan 21, 2009 12:54 PM

Anyone know where I can buy pomegranate jelly in San Francisco? I've come across recipes to make it, but I don't really have the time to do that right now. Thanks for your help!

If you're OK with Kozlowski Farms' version, I saw several jars of their pomegranate jelly at the Pinole Lucky store earlier this week. I suspect other supermarkets around the BA also carry it.

There's a new stand at the Sunday farmer's market on Grove at Divis (in SF) that sells it.

There's a local company that makes a pomegranate jelly, one with drawings of fruit faces on the label, but I can't remember the name. I bought a jar of their pomegranate jelly at Andronico's.

That's CMB Sweets. And it's yummy.

The Apple Farm sells it when they are present at Ferry Plaza Farmer's market. Loulou's Garden sells it at the Berkeley Farmer' s market. There are probably others but I haven't looked.

For several consecutive years running I have purchased beautiful jars of home made pomagranate jelly from a nice lady from Sacramento who sells it on EBay under the seller name: Nonna's Goodies.

The prices are good and the jelly is amazing....just like the home made jelly my mother used to bottle for our family.

Have you tried a Middle Eastern market?
