Spamarama 2009?

Does anyone have any idea when Spamarama 2009 will take place this year? A search on Google reveals that it will take place in April. But when in April? The Spamarama.org website, doesn't even acknowledge that there is one coming up and I don't even know if they had the festival last year because the 2007 info is still posted. I would like to compete the cook-off but I need some info!

As of this writing, there is no plans for a 2009 Spamarama. The non-profit that ran it went under and Hormel hasn't approved another group to take it over yet.

i believe I read somewhere that the Spam corp is no longer sponsoring it. Not 100% sure, but pretty sure.
