I remember awhile ago on Iron Chef (I think) Mario said going to Vietnam changed his life or words to that effect. I presume he was talking about the food. Does anybody have a link where he discusses, expands or expounds on this statement?
I would be interested to know just what it was that moved him so.

remember that as well, on an Iron Chef episode, i believe, but I never saw anything come of it either. It crosses my mind from time to time as well, in case you worried you were going crazy. That was some time ago!
