Anyone been to Melrose bar and grill?
Been there a bunch, I'm a fan of their wine list as I quite enjoy Cal. pinots and they have some fun, rarely seen on wine list bottles. The service is friendly, the price is right and the food is good, solid neighborhood bistro food, thin crust pizzas, good meat, fish, etc. And since they cleared out the more hectic Doug Arango's decor it's a lot more laid back and classy looking. It's great for a casual diner with friends or a first date where you don't want the intimidation factor.
