Birthday Cake Delivery to North Hollywood?

Hello, I live in Northern California. But, I am trying to surprise my brother for his birthday by having a cake delivered to his work next monday.

I need to find a place that will allow me to buy the cake online and have it delivered to his work in North Hollywood. Is there any place around that area that would do that? I am not familiar with the area. Also, he lives in Van Nuys, so if there are better ones that can deliver there I can have it delivered to his house. I am trying to find one that isn't too expensive.

Don't use Rose Bakery. It was disappointing. I always get my strawberry cake with whipped cream from Phoenix Bakery in Chinatown. I tried Rose Bakery after Yelping and checking here because I live closer to Rose. It was supposed to be comparable to Phoenix. Not even close. Wish I didn't do it. Ruined a birthday.

You could try Sweet Lady Jane or Joan's On Third for good cakes. Both are in Los Angeles and are pricey (sorry), but I think they might deliver.

Have you had any luck? I would recommend Continental Bakery in Valley Village (formerly North Hollywood). Their phone number is 818-762-5005. It is my go-to bakery when I don't feel like baking the cake myself. Where does your brother work? Maybe someone from work can pick it up for you.

Try Rose Bakery in Van Nuys. Tele: [phone]‎. A friend that lives nearby loves their cakes. I doubt they have online ordering but you can ask if they can deliver.

Give Big Sugar Bakeshop a call, it's nearby but their cakes may be on the high $ide. Yummy Cupcakes is close to North Hollywood.
