Basically, the ideal place would have comfortable booths and a low-key clientele who would not have their dining experience compromised. And, of course, good food is a must! As long as you are discreet, no one else will be uncomfortable or inconvenienced. I suggest that you visit restaurants at off-peak hours so that tables aren't as busy. CA Civil Code 43.3.
