Butcher By Nature

chef_vagabond Jan 20, 2009 07:21 AM

I've just moved into the area and found Butcher By Nature on google, they don't seem to have a web site. I usually frequent the Healthy Butcher and we've all heard of the 100 mile diet, well I believe in a 1 km diet when it comes to shopping. Any feed back about their products, prices, ect is appreciated. Thanks.

I love this little family run shop always friendly with lots of game and organics, highly recommended.

Which area are you in? That is, where is Butcher by Nature located?

Very fair prices, although not as many organic meats as I had hoped. They could not source organic pork fat for me (I had to use Beretta Farms) but they did get me "natural" pork fat. You can order by phone for pickup.

Very good meat, and the burgers are nicely spiced too. Other stores are beginning to carry their products, such as Salumeria on Yonge.

BBN is located on Annette, close to the corner of Runnymede.

Another fan of Butcher by Nature. We got our buffalo burgers from there all summer long!
