Colegiales-- lunch recommendations?

Hey Hounds,

I'm in Buenos Aires, well off the tourist route in Colegiales. I'm curious if anyone has any lunch, dinner or COFFEE recommendations? I'm here for about a month to work and to dance y estoy sola so am really interested in some laid back, delicious and barato places that are good for dining alone. I walk everywhere (especially in this weather!) so will travel, but am curious about my home front. Graaaacias!

my favorite restaurant is sarkis. its an armenian restaurant on thames and jufre. get there early, before 9 or be prepared to wait at least an hour on most nights. the food is always worth it. i try and go when im not hungry so by the time ive waited for our table to be called i'm plenty hungry but not about the eat someone's face off..... be aware that i always over eat at this restaurant. i have never left comfortably full.
