Best breakfast in Ottawa south?

I'm going to visit my parents in Manotick this weekend, and I'm wondering where I should go for breakfast! I've been to the Cora's on Merivale Road, and it was pretty good. I love the French Café in Manotick, but they don't have too much of a breakfast menu.

Anything worth checking out in Barrhaven, Manotick, Nepean — that neck of the woods? Or even the rural areas — Osgoode, North Gower, Kars, Richmond? I suppose if something sounded fantastic I could venture further into the city.

Good coffee is a must!

I haven't lived in the area for years but the Swan on the Rideau always had a decent breakfast. It's between Osgoode and Kars. I'm sure they have coffee but what I remember most is the Guiness (not for breakfast, of course...).

I used to like the Swan when I lived in the area... never tried the breakfast, though. Worth a shot! Thanks!
