this stuff tastes really good to me. it has a clean flavor, and i didn't find any artificial flavor or sweetener aftertaste -- usually the deal-killers.

my mom had some and i tasted it down in florida. it reminds me of the tropicana pink lemonade beverage, which you can only seem to find in the one liter (or less?) bottles at 7-11's and gas station convenience stores..... http://pepsiproductfacts.com/infobyproduct.php?brand_fam_id=1059&brand_id=1000&product=Tropicana%20Pink%20Lemonade

ps, health-food-hounds, please don't post about how bad this stuff is for me, ok? ;-).

<BIG EDIT: now i'm not sure if the one i tried was sugar-free...gotta call mom quick! will report back asap. ok, just asked mom and yes! this was the low-cal, sugar free version. less than five calories per serving! yay!>

I'll try it. I drink alot of water and fizzy water but sometimes you just want some flavor! When I buy lemonade mixes I usually use less water than is called for and it packs more punch. I never think to buy *pink* lemonade so thanks for the tip!

fern, i hope you like it, too. i was really surprised.

much better than crystal light, imo. it comes in foil-paper packets inside a tall-ish "tube" like the crystal lights. i think it is pretty cheap, too -- unlike crystal light.
look at "becky's" comment on june 17, 2008: http://www.couponcravings.com/2008/06/cutting-30-out-of-my-weekly-grocery.html

...so around $2 (?) for 12 quarts. good deal, lucille! ;-).

Hawaiian punch also has a lemon berry punch that may be very similar. I am not sure by how much in taste but it does have have the aftertaste at all to me. They also have a good grape flavor and very inexpensive. At the Wal-marts that I can find them at, the Hawaiian punch is only $1 a box.

you meant to say "no aftertaste," right vttp926?

but i saw no hawaiian punch dried powder drink mix on the hawaiian punch site. is the "$1 a box" a concentrate? does it make sugar-free drink?

yes i did mean to say no aftertaste.

its a dried powder mix also. and it is sugar free. there are 3 flavors out there for the hawaiian punch. on the box it says sugar free hawaiian punch singles to go. i included a link i found online for the grape flavor.

thanks, vttp. 8 packets for a $1. each packet flavors one 16 oz. bottled water, so is 12.5 cents per 16 oz.. the wyler's is 12.5 cents per 24 oz (if my rough calc is correct.) so, prices aren't far apart, really. thanks for that idea, as i sometimes get an old hawaiian punch craving. do they have the "original flavor"?

to be honest, even though it says 16oz water to use, the flavor is still there even if you use a 1 liter bottle of water because that is what i have been using lately. the flavor is not as concentrated so it is not as sweet but still very yummy. i am not sure what the original hawaiian punch flavor is. but i took my 3 different flavor boxes out to see. they are lemon berry squeeze, fruit juicy red, and wild purple smash.
