Recommendations For A 2 1/2 Day Visitor?

I'm in town for a short stay; Thursday afternoon through Sunday night; looking for down-home food and a nice restaurant or two. Thanks for your thoughts!

K-Paul's can be pricey, but it's atmosphere and food have a warm, welcoming south Louisiana feel.

Mandinas for down home food. Nice rest: August, Herbsaint, Emeril's, Brigsten's. Commander's for lunch M-F. Good time, good food, 25 cent martinis. Reserve the garden room.

Make sure you check out Coop's for jambalaya. I loved it there and it wasn't wicked expensive. Here's their website: http://www.coopsplace.net/
