Birthday party for about 20 on Valentine's Weekend?

Where's a FUN place to have a birthday party for about 20 or more people on Valentine's Day Weekend (the actual birthday is the 15th, Sunday)?

Last year, we filled up Messob's in Little Ethiopia. We live in the Pasadena area, but will drive up to 45 minutes if needed.

Grad student price range. Up to $20/person w/o drinks?
