marukai markets (locations in south bay, huntington beach, and little tokyo) have a selection for local grindz. they should definitely have it there for you. good luck.

TRY MARUKAI sort of an ASIAN COSTCO with some Hawaiian food products- depending on where you live: multiple locations:

GARDENA- on artesia at western is the MAIN store.
LITTLE TOKYO, COSTA MESA OR WEST COVINA

here is the link to their website - for location information only:

Pacific Supermarket in Pacific Square in Gardena. If you don't have a Marukai card (Gardena requires one), this is your best alternative. Smaller selection than Marukai, but they carry most of the same stuff.

I miss this market - they had my favorite brands of sausage - MIKO and FRANKS FOODS from HILO...

I was crushed to find the market closed and under construction when I went by today after a few month absence. They are just remodeling I hope. Any idea when they are to re-open????

i thought that marukai didn't require a card, because if you didn't have one you would be charged 10% extra. is the gardena location off of western?

If you don't feel like making it, King's Hawaiian Bakery and restaurant serves the Hawai'ian Portuguese sausage (linguiça?) in the restaurant.

Look up Cattaneo Bros. on Google and mail (email) order from them. I love linguica and they make one of the best. They are located In San Luis Obispo. Overnight shipping should get you covered. Ralph's Market also carried linquica before the strike. Might want to call their first.

What part of town are you in? It's become alot more common recently in grocery stores.

How's Markets - Torrance, Pasadena, Mission Hills, Malibu
Bristol Farms - S Pas, Long Beach, Manhattan Beach

You might try La Espanola Meats in Harbor City as they have a huge selection of Spanish (which is close to Potugul)

The common brand I've seen in many stores including Ralph's is Reynaldo's.

I found linguica at Sam's club in El Monte. What a steal.
