Smoked fish & appetizing in Queens

Does anyone know if there's a place that sells good-quality smoked fish (lox, sable, etc.), a.k.a. "appetizing", in central or western Queens, specifically, Forest Hills, Kew Gardens, Rego Park, Glendale, Bayside, Floral Park, Fresh Meadows, etc.? Will also travel into Nassau county, e.g., Great Neck, Little Neck, New Hyde Park, Mineola, etc. I've tried the Rego Smoked Fish Company, and found it okay, not great, and parking was difficult. I'd ideally like to find a place like Russ & Daughters, but I doubt there is a place like that in Queens or Nassau. Any recommendations appreciated.

Thanks.

Acme Smoked Fish in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Only on Friday morning, just went this morning.
I don't know if it is because business is slow due to the economy but the selection was ten
times what it normally is today.

Thanks for the link. Isn't there also Marshall's Smoked Fish in Brooklyn, not far from Williamsburg? I've seen their sign, and I believe I once read they sell retail to the public one day a week. I may be confusing the two, though. Did a Web search but didn't come up with any info.

Andels appetizing on Roslyn Rd between the expwy and the northern state has the best smoked fish around- as good or better than all the places in the city, just expensive as hell. i grew up on their lox and sturgeon. definitely try before you buy and ask for different pieces- there's a big variety.

While it's not on a par with Zabar's or Russ & Daughters, Utopia Bagel is a very viable local option. Great old style bagels also. They have a great club roll style bialy.
