Barangas on the Beach (hamilton)

Has anyone tired Barangas since they have new ownership? I have company coming from LA to Hamilton from January 21st till February 1st and I am trying to plan some meals in town. I have some ideas for the few times we will be in Toronto.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. We have to stay away from a pork intensive menu or Ginger. And I am looking at all price points.

Sorry, can't help you with your first question, but check out the recent threads on Hamilton for thoughts on places like Boo's, Amuse Bouche, etc., etc.
