Need ideas for nice lunch, 45 mins or so from northern RI

My mom's birthday is on a Wednesday so I was thinking of taking a half day off work and bringing her out somewhere interesting. I had a place like Gibbet Hill in mind, but they only serve dinner. A country ride is preferable to something in the city, food sh/be pretty traditional....she doesn't like spicy food. Any ideas?

I think I may have answered my own question....lunch at 85 Main in Putnam CT and then a browse through Antiques Mktplace.
