re: StriperGuy
Its funny, I live near leonard street and the store 24 that I used to use closed and became a real estate office. Now I have to traipse over to trapelo to find a convenience store. I find that on the rare occasions I can talk my family into chinese food (Yes, they may be un-american, but they don't much like chinese food) that I prefer the longer trip to shangri-la. I did try Pho and Thai and was not impressed. Have always been scared of the takeout place in cushing square next to starbucks.

I, too, live nearby (a couple of blocks from the Belmont Cinema). There are so many convenience stores along Trapelo Road around here, I wonder how they all stay in business!
And I do miss Ling Garden from before its long, slow decline. The Vietnamese/Thai place that replaced it just does not fill that niche in my dining life.
