Middle Eastern in JP

It looks like a Middle Eastern restaurant is opening up in JP, It's going into the old insurance place across from JP Licks. I think it's Samia's.

Interesting. I wonder if it will be a second Samia's or if they are moving from West Roxbury. This is the first I've heard of this (can't find any info about it online).

I hope you're right, I love their place in West Roxbury. However, are you sure it is going to be a restaurant? It seems there is a real estate company in JP with the same name and that space seems like more of an office location than a restaurant space.

The Samia Company is located in Brighton, not JP. They were my landlords in 1979-80. Yikes. I'm old.

The link you provided is to aprtments they are renting in JP.

Really? I haven't heard anything about this. Usually when something like this goes on it's all over town. I'll ask around.

I passed this the other night but perhaps misread as Sami's (as in Sami's falafel wagon that used to be at Harvard Medical School). I hope you're right as it would be a much better addition to the neighborhood.

I got confirmation on this tonight, too. Interesting! Good catch, 66, I totally missed this. It will be a great addition to the neighborhood.

Looks like its going to be a while longer. Still looks like a major construction site inside, from what I can tell.
