Claudia Roden's Orange Almond cake

For some bizarre reason this recipe has been left out of my copy of Roden's New Book of Middle Eastern Food. In my edition the page that it is supposed to be on is blank (I must call the publisher!). Anyway, if someone can please post a free- form rendition (I know we can't post it verbatim--copyright infringment, etc) of this classic I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

i've also made a clemetine cake from nigella lawson which is wonderful. this too can be found easily from google.

IMO, if you use really good oranges e.g., Australian or valencia, CR's recipe is better than NL's. Also, I prefer the almonds thoroughly/finely ground.
