Elyssa,
What do you think of the PS 7 flat breads on the happy hour menu? I know there was some discussion a while back about the new happy hour menu. However, I could not find the discussion on my search.

I really enjoyed them. I had one that has an aged balsamic vinegar syrup which added a great salty/sweet taste to the flat bread. There was cheese and some other stuff on it (can't remember exactly) but it was great....and large! I was a little surprised by the portion size. Certainly more then enough for a few people to share. I was glad I didn't order anything else (besides a glass of wine) because I was there by myself. It served as a nice light dinner.

I also hear the new bartender is excellent. I'm going to be having dinner there this weekend so I hope to check out the new drinks she has to offer.

That duck pizza was really great! I loved the pumpkin flavor being a part of it. I wish it was a bit softer but that's a minor complaint. My friend and I had the flat bread, risotto balls, and petite hot dogs. I have had the risotto balls and hot dogs before and both were amazing again! I really like the cheese sauce with the risotto balls.

The big news, though, is the new face there...
Gina Chersevani, the brilliant cocktail mixologist (most recently) of Eat Bar has moved to PS 7s. She told me she is helping a friend with the bar. Also, she said she will have a new cocktail menu in time for the weekend!
Go visit her!!

That's really exciting! I really wasn't impressed with the lavender gimlet, and I haven't been back to try the food, but, wow, this is a reason to get there asap.

just wanted to report that I heartily recommend the Nanny Goat Flatbread for the PS7 Happy Hour. At half price, this is not only delicious and inventive, but a real steal. It has walnut butter, arugula, fried shallots and a little bit of goat cheese on it. Served on a round flatbread like a mini-pizza. Exceptional. The flatbreads are the only reduced price choice for happy hour and they are the best way to go.

Also had the oxtail tots (very good, but still preferred the flatbread) and the milk and cookies for dessert. Three cookies baked to order and a small glass of milk for $10. Peanut butter, oatmeal and raisin, and chocolate chip. All three were well-prepared, but I'd only consider getting this again as three chocolate chip. Wow, good stuff that.
