I'm looking for a restaurant within walking distance (2 block max) of the Troubadour for Sat night -- a group of us want to eat before going to hear Sonos perform live. I thought there was an Italian or Indian place 2 doors down, but I can't remember the name. Thanks!

It is Flavor of India, a few doors down. I happened in before a Troubadour show, based on a casual recommendation, and found it quite good. Been back a couple of times, though not in a year or so, and found it still held up. And you only have to park once.

Another great option in the hood/walking distance is Melrose Bar & Grill.
