V-Day Reservation

Normally I avoid eating out on v-day. I just don't feel I get a good dining experience. Having said that, my wife and I have a newborn and this will be our first meal out with just the two of us. I would like to make a reservation somewhere that will give us good food and a nice dining experience without having to feel like we are crammed in the back corner of a restaurant paying too much for a substandard menu. Thoughts/recommendations?

Thank you.

My favorite place for an exceptionally special meal with amazing service, great food and that sit and linger vibe is Jezebel.
It's pricey, but sounds like the just the thing to celebrate your first night out in a long while.
I'm sure they'll do something extra special for Valentine's day.

I second Jezebel. Although you must make a decision quickly as so many spots are already full on V-day. My other choices would be Wink, Aquarelle, Perry's Steakhouse and the Mansion at Judge's Hill.

Thanks for the great info Amy. However, I think I would have to pass on the ravioli at SWB. :)

By the way, have you been to Silver & Stone? If so, what did you have and what did you think of the place.

I haven't been yet, either. Georgetown is a bit of a haul. I drive out there for business a lot and I may still have the $4+ gas mentality... plus limited free time. I need to prioritize as I think it's going to be very good. Chef served us a wonderful "Chef's choice" meal in the vault at Main St. Grill in RR several years ago for Valentine's Day when he was Chef there.

For the record, that is exactly how it was listed on the open table site, (so their typo, not mine)
