Will be in Killarney /Ring of Kerry 3 days, Galway 1 day and Dublin 3 days during February. Any recommendations for good places to eat?

What price range? Any particular food likes or dislikes? Formal, casual, in-between? Have you done some searches on this board? I posted reviews of several Dublin restaurants just a few months ago.

It's been awhile, but we had some nice food at the Muckross Park Hotel outside Killarney. As I remember, they may have had two restaurants. If you drive the Ring of Kerry, a great lunch stop is the Avoca shop and restaurant near Moll's Gap. Killarney has a few good pubs if you like Irish music and want a fun evening listening to that.

Hi there, On the 'Ring of Kerry' leg of your trip, try The Blind Piper in Derrynane for good pub food. If you get an opportunity stop in Kenmare. Packies, The Lime Tree and Mulchay's all offer delcious menus based on high-quality local ingredients. If the budget is a little more limited, Prego offers nice Italian fare. Jam is a great spot for a pot of tea and homebaking. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, I can highly recommend Virginia's (I stayed there at the weekend for the first time and was very impressed). The room rate is great value for money and includes a magnificent and imaginative breakfast cooked by the delightful lady of the house Noreen. Hope you enjoy the scenary. It's a very beautiful part of the country.
