The Ruins, Seattle

We're thinking of having our wedding at The Ruins in Seattle. Has anyone eaten there recently?

Yes, the Ruins is always lovely. Few caterers with their own venue offer such nice food. However, the cuisine does run towards french-style brasserie food, for the most part, which I like, but some people do not and prefer lighter, more citrus or asian-based flavor.

The Ruins is always good for functions like weddings. The food is different from what they serve for dinner verses vs. what they serve for a function. Every party I've ever had there was really good. They'll work with you on the menu. Lunch there is still a great experience..good food and service. I haven't been a fan of there dinner menu for quite awhile.
