Seattle - Food place to take a Austrailian student

dadofpscag Jan 13, 2009 12:39 PM

I need recommendations to take Austrailian exchange student, for a weeknight meal. She hates pizza and green vegtables and tomatoes, less lettuce and tomato sauce (ketchsup). I think she has had a few burgers and works in a chinese restaurant at home. I am giving this post a shot for some ideas. Thanks.

take a stroll down "the ave" so as to surround yourselves in the student vibe and let her choose from amongst the amazing variety of eateries there.

The Palace Kitchen is where I take all of my out-of-town guests, with great success.

          There's a couple different places:

          Tapas: Ocho in Ballard
Pub Grub: Hales in Ballard, Elysian in Capital Hill, or Brouwers in Fremont
Mexican(ish?): Peso's in lower Queen Anne.

          Hope that helps!
