Sorry for the lame post, but Miami chowhound with kids needs recs, please!
I hate lame generic posts as much as the next hound, but humor me, please. We are going to visit friends in Miami for the long weekend. A much needed respite after a hellish few months and I want to make the most of it. We both have kids, and we're talking 4 (usually well-behaved) kids under 5 years of age. Looking for great food in child friendly environments, bonus points if they have good drinks. We went to Versailles last time and liked it a lot; totally intend to go again. Open to hearing about any ethnicity -- Cuban, American, Italian, whatever. Just tell me who is making good food. They live in Brickel Key, but it doesn't really matter and we'll have cars. Thanks so much for taking the time!
I think Bleu Pizzeria (I think that's the name of it) in Mary Brickell can satisfy the wee ones as well as the older folks. They have great salads, pastas, pizza and interesting specials. You can sit in or outdoors. The wait staff are friendly, accomodating and aim to please.
I brought my dog once and they filled up a water bowl and gave it to her. I didn't even ask!
