LA Restaraunt for Valentines - not pre-fixed
Hi guys,
New to the forum, so please excuse me if I'm asking something that has been asked a million times before.
Basically I'm looking to find a romantic restaruant with great food for valentines day this year. I was looking at Cafe La Boheme but the menu is fixed, and I'd prefer to find a place without a fixed menu on V-Day. $100 pp would probably be the target pricerange.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I just settle with a fixed menu?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
preference would be French or Italian cuisine. THANKS A MIL!

Well there is Anisette in Santa Monica. Wonderful French food and real bistro feel and it's just a few blocks from the beach so it's easy to take a walk either on the bluffs overlooking SM beach or you could walk to the pier. Also I hear that Sky Room in Long Beach is very romantic and a throw back to the old dinner/dancing clubs. You may want to check out Gayot.com and look up their "best of" or "top 10" list for ideas. I find it very helpful.
