Herby K's - (famous for their Shrimp Buster sandwich, great gumbo, oysters, etc.)
Superior - (the original, so way better than the one here, for mexican)
The Cub - (Steaks, hole in the wall atmosphere)
Superior Steakhouse - ok food, but good bar to get drinks after a meal
Counter Culture - for the best yogurt and light lunch fare
Strawn's - for burgers, pie, breakfast , plate lunches, etc..- it's a diner on Kings Highway›7 Replies-

Bodacious BBQ in Bossier is very good. its owned by a Good Ole New Orleans Holy Cross alum. Its a "joint". Everything a good BBQ place should be.
Herby K's has very good gumbo, but the famed Shrimp buster is a joke.
Ernests is exactly as said--a time warp. But they have recently started using frozen fish so I quit going.-
