It sounds like a show on BBCAmerica last season and features teams of couples "As they face off to win a chance to open their own restaurant."

This is interesting. I just finished "The Devil in the Kitchen" and he was critical of "celebrity chefs," even specifically mentioning Gordon Ramsay and Hell's Kitchen. That said, I loved the book, love Marco and will definitely check this out.

Must have decided to drink the kool-aid since then - he did the last season of Hell's Kitchen UK. He was actually entertaining in a moody psychotic sort of way.

I saw that season of HK UK. He was entertaining, but the food he was cooking was kind of embarassing. Bouillon cubes and seafood cocktail on iceberg lettuce.

Moody psychotic can be SO entertaining, can't it? Especially from afar ...

He's the same way in person.

But I am looking forward to seeing the show.

Gordon and Marco have some history so I'm sure some of his comments were based on other personal feelings shared between the two. Check out Ramsey's book Roasting in Hell's Kitchen and you'll get a sense of the other side of the story between Marco and Gordon. It's a pretty interesting read.
