Dinner for 16 in Delray Beach area

dspec01 Jan 11, 2009 09:31 AM

In February, the family is planning to get together in Delray Beach for my father-in-law's 90th birthday. Unfortunately it looks like we might be limited to a Saturday evening dinner. Any suggestions on what might be a good place in the area for dinner for 16 people?

Any help is appreciated.

Cabana on Atlantic has a private room which I think could seat 16. They will plan you a set menu at a set price.

Bostons can sit 16 in the back area upstairs and will also plan you a set menu.

get moving on this because it's season

Cabana is a good suggestion. Their food and drinks are good and their private room is perfect for a group that size; although not any larger. I book that room about 3-4 times a year for business lunches and we've never been disappointed.

Thanks for the responses. I will pass this information along to the decision makers in the group.

Sundy House will be $$$ but for a very special event such as this, it might fit the bill. It's gorgeous and sure to impress the whole gang (if that's what you are looking for). Some idea of your budget range would help here.

Appreciate the response. Last year (2007) we ate at the Sundy House when we visited the family. The food was really very good. My son developed a taste for rack of lamb after his meal there. I do think that it might be a little on the high side for this occasion.
