Anyone know if they are open in winter - and if every tried their ice cream cakes

      <content>The DQs in Westmount &amp; Lachine are closed in winter and my guess is perhaps they all are - why don't you call and see for sure.

Never tasted one of their cakes so can't comment.</content>

      <content>I find them too sweet. There is a vanilla layer, a chocolate layer and in between a chocolate crumb with chocolate syrup. It's not bad but make sure you have lots of people to finish it off. It's way too rich to have a regular slice. I agree with kpzoo that all DQs are probably closed for the winter; the nearest one to my house says it's reopening in March.</content>
