    1. Just hit the Report button on the right at the post you want to delete... then from the drop down menu click on the box at which ever reason suits you. If you want to leave a message for the moderators tell them you want to delete your own post.

        1. Why would you want to do that? The information shared in them is there for everyone.

yes you are right - but sometimes you may send one too fast and click submit and realize that you may want to re-do with information you forgot to add in

in that case, just reply to your own post and explain that you're adding information...or if it's still within the initial 4-hour window when you originally posted it, click "Edit" and insert the information you want to add (you can even precede it with the qualifier "ETA:" which means "Edited to Add").

                      isn't it a two-hour window, ghg?

It's still 2, so far as I know.

thanks. wishful thinking, i guess ;)

                        2. I thought at first you were talking about the list of posts on your My CHOW page, which can get quite long and often highlight threads you wish you hadn't replied to because they keep popping up in your my CHOW page. Anyway, there isn't a way to do that.

(Hmm, there's one reason to be glad the sort on that page doesn't work the way you'd want... I wouldn't want to see every chatty thread I ever participated in dominating that page because those threads just never seem to die!)

Something good in almost everything :-)
