Ivan Kane's Cafe Wa s for tonight

Going to Cafe Wa s tonight. I searched the board and found a review from when it first opened. Was wondering if anyone had been recently, and if the reviews of the food had improved. Also, is the Piano Bar so loud that it is not conducive to talking over dinner?

I would go to Hungry Cat and have dessert and a nightcap at Cafe Was.

Last Saturday was not that loud, you can talk. We had dessert at the bar, not so great. But the bartender was good and made me a lovely Irish coffee with awesome whipped cream...
