Thank you in advance

Ah yes, the Sunday challenge. Not far from Winter Garden, but not walking distance is Mengrai Thai. If you like Thai, but you haven't tried this place then you owe it to yourself to experience Sasi's cooking.

Is that new Terroni on Victoria open?

Yes the Osteria is open and getting fairly good reviews.

We could use more guidance for "great" restaurant though. Granted Sunday presents a challenge, but not too much guidance here.

Any other suggestions for "great" restaurant, something within walking distance preferable.
      Thank you

Biff Bistro gets good reviews and is about 4 or 5 blocks away, on Front. And Take Sushi is more or less the same distance away.

Linda's, above Salad King, is very good Thai food in a nice setting. It's on Gould, just east of Yonge (across from Sam the Record Man's old location). They offer a $30 prix fixe menu that is great value. Don't let the crowds at Salad King scary you off -- a short flight of stairs, and you're a world away.

Second the rec for Linda's. There's a spot on Yonge st just a bit south of the hard rock cafe called Superior and it's v. nice and not v. expensive.

I think Linda's is closed on Sunday. Otherwise that would have been my recommendation too.

Biff, Take, Linda's and Superior are all closed on Sunday's. This is amongst the reasons why I went with Mengrai. I do this search all the time when planning shopping at the Eaton Centre and dining afterwards.

Anyone know of another "great" restaurant that's actually "open Sunday"?

Perhaps not "great" but Thirty Five Elm is within walking distance, opens for dinner at 5pm on Sunday

            Same with Barberians
