Global Swedish filleter

Does anyone have experience of these please? My fishmonger uses one, so I guess they're at least ok. I'm very lucky in that it's pretty much the only item I crave for my kitchen, Santa having kindly brought some Laguiole steak knives!

For under $20 you can get this Swedish fillet knife

with a pretty blue handle! Comes with a sheath, so you can keep it with your fishing tackle. I suspect Frosts of Sweden knives are readily available in the UK.

Thanks, I'll look out for this. The Global seems to have a really, really, flexible blade and looks perfect when used by my fishmonger, but then I expect he could skin a fish with a housebrick!

I once bought the same filleting knife
used by fileters at a sport fishing
place. As you say, they could
probably filet with anything, but I
found no use for it. A 4-1/2 inch Forschner
utility knife works for me.
