Two different burgers at Sal de la Terre?

I was checking out the online menu at Sal de la Terre, and it seems like the Natick restaurant has an Angus burger with carmelized onions for $12, and the Boylston St. has a New England ground beef Burger with chedder and bacon for $16. You can even add foie gras torchon for $15!

Some Chowhounders have been raving about the burgers at Sal del la Terre. Does the Boylston St location have a different and better burger?

Whenever I see the name Sal de la Terre I am always reminded of the extremely mediocre meal that I had my only time there

what is all the hype about?

      Zopper,

      What made your meal mediocre?

I for one, am quite the fan of the SDLT burger. As for the burger meat being different from Natick, I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case as each location has a chef-driven menu. I wish they still had the crab cakes at the Boylston location. The foie gras torchon is phenomenal.
