Looking through the Winter 2009 Restaurant Week listings I've noticed a number of other special offers. For example, I learned that the $24 lunch and $35 dinner is offered at Perry Street and other Jean-Georges restaurants throughout the year (see jean-georges.com). That got me wondering: Where do Chowhounds look for (I'll whisper it) bargains? Is it on the boards here? (I'm not having much luck finding the right search words.) Blogs? Mailing lists? I've got in mind something more specific and Chowhoundish than a generic Citysearch roundup of free jazz brunch mimosas or the dozens of 20% deals through Diningfever.
