Key Lime Pie - searching for a place that will ship to MD
During the holidays, a family friend brought up a key lime pie from FL. I live in MD and am trying to find a place that sells a great pie that will ship. The one I had had graham cracker crust and was topped with a light cream, and would like one similar...but will appreciate any advice on a place that makes the best ones that will ship... Thanks from MD

But the pie is so easy to make at home. Why bother with ordering one and paying shipping. I can think of few foods less worthy of being ordered and shipped. A great smoked ham, OK. But a KLP? Just get a couple of cans of condensed milk and some graham crackers and have at it. Even Cooks Illustrated claimed that Persian limes make a better KLP than key limes, and Persian limes are available anywhere.

bob Roth's New River Groves ships Terry's Key Lime pies and they are fabulous...if not cheap.

Mike's Pies in Tampa ships pies. I believe most of their pies are for restaurants now, but they do ship them still.

I love Randy's Key Lime pies in Naples, Fla - they ship too.

This is one of the better ones from Key West. The pie is delicious!

They are also very easy to make. Use Nellie and Joes juice and recipe. Its fairly easy to find the juice. I see it in Publix stores all the time.
