K-town places for tripe or beef tongue?

Are there any places in K-town whose tripe or tongue you really like? I notice that some tripe dishes are really expensive ($30 or so in places where other dishes are around 12-15) and I'd like to stay away from those options if possible.

  1. There's a good offal plate at Gam Mee Ok. I haven't had it in some time, so I'm trying to remember what's in it. I think it includes intestine, liver, tongue, and sundae (the sausage, not the ice cream thingy). I'm sure it doesn't cost $30.

its ok, the best thing on the plate is the soondae, the rest of the stuff is overcooked (kind of dry)

i think I've gotten the beef plate at ganmeeok which has maybe 2 or 3 cuts, including tongue. this is the one with a big pile of julienned scallion in the middle; it wasn't a ton of food for the cost since it was thing slivers, but delicious and fatty nevertheless.

you're right the plate is called soo yook and its pretty good at gam me oak, i forgot they had it

the other plate of soon dae is just ok although the soon dae itself isn't bad

ya the other parts are so so. but sometimes those peppers are hot! i love the place but it scares me a bit that the salt they have on the table is MSG-salt. still damn good tho. and of course, the most bad-ass turnip kimchi on the block.

Kun Jip has a plate of beef knees and cartiledge with the spicey scallions as a garnish. Very very good!!!
              Does that count as offal?
