Seeking Recommendations for Romatic and Reasonable in SLO /Pismo Area

Our daughter in college at SLO wants to take her boyfriend out to dinner at a romantic but reasonably priced restaurant in the area. One of the neighbors mentioned the Olde Port Inn in Pismo, but a look at their menu indicates it'll run about $100 for dinner for two.
Can any Chowhounds out there make some recommendations? They've been to Rosa's in Pismo recently and liked it, but would like to try somewhere different.

I would suggest that she look at the SLO County Restaurant Month program.
They feature 3 course dinners for $ 30. Hoppe's in Cayucos would be terrific.
Some are true bargains and at a considerable savings.

Bruce, great suggestion ! Don't forget Lido at the dolphin Bay Resort, also. Make them feel pampered. (also on rest. month)

My CP student and her boyfriend had a date-night recently at Buona Tavola. They enjoyed themselves (and the food!) then went to the movie next door. And, I've eaten at Buena Tavola myself and can say that the food really is good.
