Tampa Area-Italian Bakery/Deli's

My wife is a New Jersey native and used to the authentic Italian bakeries/deli's that she had back home. Does any place like this exist in the Tampa/St. Pete areas? Thank you in advance for any help!

Great bakery on St Pete beach that has the best bread in florida, along with other Italian items.

Castellano and Pizzo on Henderson in Tampa is also good but Mazarro's is definitely what you are looking for.

The last time I was there it felt different, hard to explain, but different, and not in a good way.

Mazzaro's in St Pete. Just off the 22nd Ave N exit. If you search under Fl on this board you will find recommendations.

I couldn't agree with you more...Mazzaro's is the best for good italian deli, fresh pasta and great bread. Gelato is not too shabby either!
