Any good eats near Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore
looking for something fun or unique, and great food prior to show at the Symphony Hall. Not too familiar with the area and wanted something laid-back but doesn't really matter as long as the food is good.
I can recommend Sammy's, Italian and friendly, a short walk from the Meyerhoff at Charles and Biddle streets. The Brewers Art, at Charles and Chase, has great food and an awesome selection of housemade beers. Abacrombie, directly across from the symphony hall, has a great reputation, though it is pricier than the other two. If you want really unique, try Dukem, the Ethiopian restaurant on Chase Street at Cathedral, just south of the symphony hall.

There are two great places near the Charles Street Theater about a mile away from the Symphony. For dinner if you like tapas try Tapas Teatro (great dishes and Sangria). It is right next to the Theater and a parking garage is across the street (not very expensive couple bucks during the week, not sure about a Saturday). And if the tapas menu isn't really your thing there is Sofi's Crepes on the other side of the Theatre and it is open until 11 pm for an afterwards coffee and delicious crepe (great for sharing). Hope this helps.
Have fun at the Symphony!
